WHAT TO EXPECT
A comfortable, personalised approach from your very first appointment.
Your first appointment is an opportunity to talk, ask questions and understand what's happening with your body.
We'll begin with a private conversation about your symptoms, health history, lifestyle and what you'd like to achieve from physiotherapy. Your assessment will then be tailored to you and may include:
Movement and musculoskeletal assessment
Pelvic floor assessment
Breathing and abdominal assessment
Bladder or bowel diary
Real-time ultrasound, where appropriate
Internal pelvic floor assessment, where clinically indicated
An internal examination isn't always necessary. We'll always explain your options and make sure you feel comfortable before proceeding. You are in control of your appointment at every stage.
