About us

The Women's Physio Studio is a boutique physiotherapy practice dedicated exclusively to women's health. By focusing solely on this specialised area of physiotherapy, we provide personalised, evidence-based care tailored to each woman's unique needs and stage of life.

Our philosophy is centred on building genuine relationships and taking the time to understand every client's individual goals, concerns, and expectations. We believe that every woman deserves compassionate, one-on-one care in a supportive environment where she feels heard, respected, and empowered. Our aim is to help women regain confidence in their bodies, improve their quality of life, and achieve meaningful, lasting outcomes.

Meet Alicia

Alicia is a Women’s Health Physiotherapist with a passion for helping women feel strong, supported and confident in their bodies through every stage of life.

She holds a Master of Physiotherapy from the University of Technology Sydney, a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science from Australian Catholic University, and a Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance) from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.

With a background as an elite dancer, Alicia developed a deep understanding of movement, strength, performance and injury rehabilitation. Her experience has extended beyond dance, working with athletes and sporting organisations including Touch Football Australia, NSW Touch Football and Softball NSW. This combination of women's health, musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy allows her to take a holistic approach to care, considering not just your symptoms, but how they affect the way you move and live your everyday life.

Alicia's own journey through pregnancy and motherhood has also shaped the way she cares for women. She understands that every woman's experience is different, and that pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period can bring both physical and emotional challenges. She is passionate about creating a space where women feel comfortable talking openly about their concerns, without embarrassment or judgement.

At The Women's Physio Studio, Alicia takes the time to listen, understand your goals and work with you to develop a treatment plan that feels right for you. Her approach is evidence-based, compassionate and personalised, with a focus on helping women feel informed, empowered and confident in their bodies.

Outside of the clinic, Alicia enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the Blue Mountains on a bushwalk, lifting weights at the gym and enjoying a relaxed weekend brunch.
